So we all know the Holden name is dead in Australia. It's been on the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and on pretty much every major auto site. But I-and many others- have been thinking about GM picking up Holden models to sell here in America. And why not? The Maloo could definitely be rebadged as the El Camino remake. Yes, Holden's cars are just rebadged Chevy's but I think the Maloo is one they need over here. As one Oppo user pointed out !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! GM no longer does go fast for cheap. Ford does cheap go-fast, Dodge is working towards it, and the Asian manufacturers have nailed it. So where is your cheap fast thing GM?

I feel like everyone in the world is ahead of you technologically and financially. Yes, they've had success with the amazing, brand new C7, and the new Silverado, but what they need now more than anything I think is a cheap, fast, quality car. Other companies like Ford are turning to higher quality. When I sit in a Ford now, it feels European, nice. When I sit in my friends Chevy it feels cheesy, fake. Yes, Chevy is supposed to be that 'Murican car company, but damn. SOME quality wouldn't hurt would it? Anyways, back to the cheap go-fast. Pull that goddamned Maloo over here to America and sell the shit out of it. People would buy it for sure, especially with the El Camino badge slapped on it. Have a truck trio. The new, small Colorado with the manual, the heavy duty Silverado, and the sport truck, El Camino. But I am lost as to an ST or Toyobaru rival. Maybe a Nice sporty wagon based on the Cruze or even the little Spark. Surely you guys could use a little sales boost. Heck maybe this wouldn't be so little you never know. In the long term, maybe just maybe, this could come back to bite them.
So whatcha think oppo. Does GM need to bring over the Maloo? Will it even help?
